If you want an extremely WOW look contour your face. Contouring highlights the T zone of your face and draws the eyes to your beautiful features.

Including a cut crease to your eye area allows for a pop. Let you eyes stand out above the rest.

How To Pick The Right Red Lipstick For Your Skin Tone

Red Lips For You

Do you want to wear red lipstick but have not found the right shade for you? You don't want your lips to look too bright or too dull. Red is a color for the bold and daring, and here are some tips on how to pick the right shade for your skin tone.

Lighter Skin Tone

Lighter skin tones should find lipsticks with blue undertones. If you want more of a pop pick a shade that include corals, oranges or peach within the red. However if your a red head you will want to pick red lipsticks with blue or pink undertones.

Medium Skin Tone

People with skin tones in medium come from a wide range of ethnicities  and with this skin tone brighter is better. Avoid matte colors as is does not have enough contrast with the warmth in your skin.If you are of Asian descent lipsticks with purple undertones will work best for you.

Dark Skin Tone

People with dark skin have varying skin undertones of red or yellow. Whichever undertone you may have you will find that red lipstick looks its best on you when it is a pure red. Your bold reds will memorize.

The Holiday Season has past and like most people the #1 New Years Resolution is to lose weight. Maybe you have put on some pounds from your Thanksgiving Turkey Diner or ate to much Christmas Ham. Whatever your face shape may be wear a hairstyle that compliments your face and facial features. If you have a strong jawline consider wearing a ponytail that highlights that feature on your face.

2. WEAR A LONG NECKLACE

Long necklaces draws attention to it. Wearing a long necklace will help people to focus on your neck area rather than the areas you do not want people eyes to stay to long.

3. WEAR A WRAP DRESS

Wrap dress brings attention upwards. If you carry most of your weight in your lower body than this option will draw the eyes up and away from your problem areas.

4. TAN

Darker skin creates the illusion of being slimmer. If you tan not only will you have a healthy glow for this winter you will look slimmer.

5. WEAR THE CORRECT UNDER GARMENTS

Make sure that your under garments fit you correctly. Ill fitting bra's creates back fat, and panties that are too small gives the illusion of a muffin top. Pick the size that fits you comfortably.

6.PUT ON THOSE NUDE HEELS

Heels by themselves make you look slimmer as it lifts the bum bum and shapes the calves, and by wearing nude heels makes the shoes appear to be an extension of your legs. The taller you look the slimmer you look too!

Wearing make up usually helps me to feel extra special. Take the next step and contour your face. Contouring your face creates an  illusion of more defined features.

8. WEAR SPANX

Almost all the celebrities are raving about wearing their spanx underneath their designer clothes. If you want a more pulled together look get a good pair of control underwear.

How To Avoid Hat Hair In The Winter

WINTER HAT DILEMMA

It is the winter time and wearing a hat on cold days is almost a must rather than a fashion option.  Have you found that wearing a hat gets in the way of having a great hair style? Here are some tips on how to avoid squishy hat hair.

1.DON'T BE A PRODUCT JUNKIE

Yes, a lot of women like to have product in their hair, but that does not mean to put on every styling product you own. The more products that you have in your hair increases the chances of you having that dreaded squishy hat hair. Grease and pomade will only make matters worse. Instead opt for hairspray at the root to add volume or opt for leave in conditioner. Which ever products you decide to use it is advised to make sure your hair completely dry before putting on a hat.

2. WEAR A SATIN LINED HAT

100% Cotton is not king when it comes to hats. Most winter hats are made out of cotton and cotton absorbs. Therefore making any products you put in your hair now unfortunately in your hat. After cotton has taken all of the good moisture out of your hair it leaves your hair to rub against the material which increases your chances of breakage. Picking a satin lined hat allows your hair to slip across the fabric rather than rub against it.

3. PICK THE RIGHT HAIR DO
When you are going to be wearing a hat it is not the time to try out the latest up do. Opt for a sleek ponytail, a low bun, or any style that requires flatter hair at the root. This way when you take your hat off you will not have to be praying to the hair gods that your hair is still the way you originally styled it.

4. BUY THE RIGHT HAT FOR YOUR HEAD

When you take hat off  and you have indent on your forehead from were your hat was placed then chances are your hat is too small. Buy a hat that fits your head, and frames your face. Being warm and protecting yourself against the elements is more important than wearing a cute hat that was made for someone with a smaller head.

5. THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX

It may be possible that you are just not a hat person. If you find that you fit into this category there are plenty of options available to you such as ear warmers, ear muffs, scarves, hoodies, etc. The most important factor is that you stay warm.
